For over twenty years I’ve worked at the intersection of clinical development and technology — as builder, seller, and buyer of the systems that run clinical trials. Twelve of those years were at Medidata, during its high-growth years as a public company, helping build what became its Patient Experience & Decentralized Clinical Trial platform. From there to Bristol Myers Squibb, running Clinical Innovation and Change Management inside Global Development Operations, and then to Medable and Biofourmis, leading product strategy through Biofourmis’s clinical-trials acquisition by ActiGraph (now Signant Health).
Today I lead Digital Clinical Development at Sanofi — cutting the time and burden it takes to get data out of a clinical trial and into a decision. Outside that role, I advise pharma sponsors, technology providers, and investors, and take on a small number of board, advisory, and speaking commitments.
The work has taught me one thing: the real outcome isn’t smarter systems or better processes — it’s trust. Leading with intention, listening like it matters, because it does, and creating change that respects both the science and the people it serves.
